COMPANY

PLASTICS FOR BUTTONS S.R.L. was launched to further research and development into the use of polyester in button manufacture. The company was set up in 1976, the year in which the current chairman, Roberto Lecchi, together with two other partners, began a long and arduous period of research.

At present, PFB comprises two partners, Roberto Lecchi and Loredana Testa, who played a key role in the 80s in terms of getting the company to first place among the sector leaders, both in Italy and abroad.

PFB occupies a covered area of 7500 square metres. Having continued its technological research for more than 25 years, it has broadened its interests to include not only polyester-based production, but also the commercial utilisation of raw materials such as Corozo ("vegetable ivory"), horn, coconut and mother-of-pearl. To this end, it has set up subsidiaries that function internationally in various countries, besides continuing its own commercial activity with regard to materials used in button production.

PFB is able to offer its clients a highly qualified technical staff, thereby guaranteeing its ability to meet and satisfy the needs of an evolving and ever more demanding market.
